New Look

I thought after twelve months it was time for a different look to keep things fresh.

Happy Birthday

Tomorrow marks TopShmups first birthday yes it’s been a full twelve months since I started what was only going to be a trial to see if  there was any room for another Shmup site in what is a very small community and I’m pleased to say that so far I think its been a success with the blog getting more hits as each month goes by. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who keeps coming back and to other Shmup sites that have helped in pointing people in my direction you know who you are. Here’s to the next twelve months.

Beta Testers Needed

A request for beta testers has been put out by Vern over on Actionsoft for his up and coming shooter Insectoid. If your interested contact vern with your age and which platform your are using either Windows or Mac(os) contact him on vern@actionsoft.com and await your reply.

The screen shots on this are looking very nice indeed.

Sorry to say but there will be no new posts this week as I’m off on vacation for the next five days. Never fear though I will be back with some more TopShmups for you to try out soon.

Sorry to say that there will be no post’s this week due to me going on vacation for a few days. I will start to post again from 22/06/09

Site Updates

You may well have noticed over the past few weeks a slow down in posting of new games this is due to that important thing called life which is good at tripping you up now and then and for those reasons I can only post on a Friday and Sunday and if I get the chance on Saturdays too. Im hoping to return to normal as soon as I can so please keep checking back as I’m not about to give up on here as I have loads of stuff to bring you over the next few weeks and months.
