Magi Magi

Magi Magi is a vertical shooter that was revealed ay Comiket 76 and it drew my attention to it the minute I saw the first screen shots. It’s an odd game but one that has a very steep learning curve everything starts off nice and easy but by the time you reach level three this thing is very hard indeed not only do you get enemies coming towards you the come from every angle you could care to mention all firing a mass of bullets intent on destroying you which in my case happened a lot. Fear not because you get a choose of three characters to choose from when starting each with three weapons to help you out which are you primary shot then you get a homing shot and then a sword which you use at very close quarters as a last resort. Graphics and sound are very good colourful and crisp which is a nice change and the music also matches in perfect. Controls are Cursor Keys to move, Z Key is your primary, X Key is you homing shot and C Key is your sword you can also use a gamepad if you wish. Well worth a look this one.
